John J. Keefe, Jr. is a partner in the New Haven law firm of Lynch, Traub, Keefe & Errante, P.C. and has been affiliated with the firm since 1980. Mr. Keefe has trial experience in Federal District Court, Connecticut Superior Court, Geographical Area Courts, Juvenile Court, Workers' Compensation Hearings, Administrative Health Department Hearings and Administrative Department of Motor Vehicle Hearings. He has handled Appeals and made appellate arguments before the United States District Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, the Connecticut Supreme Court, the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Workers' Compensation Review Board. Mr. Keefe has acted as Special Master in Family Relations cases for Superior Courts in New Haven, Middletown and Milford. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the New Haven County Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Keefe has been an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac College since 1983, where he teaches Criminal Justice. Primary areas of practice are criminal defense, family law, motor vehicle and workers' compensation.
