Nancy Fitzpatrick Myers is a partner in the New Haven Law Firm of Lynch, Traub, Keefe & Errante, P.C. Attorney Myers is an experienced litigator and appellate attorney for civil and criminal cases in both the federal and state courts. She has been instrumental in many of the firm's courtroom and appellate successes concerning municipal liability, negligence, civil rights actions, constitutional law, and criminal defense. Her practice is primarily devoted to representing the defense. Attorney Myers is also experienced in handling complex multi-million dollar lawsuits litigated in the state's Complex Litigation Docket.

Attorney Myers' strong academic background led the firm to victory in the precedent setting Connecticut Supreme Court case of State v. Edman – a case that defined Connecticut law on the constitutional right to a fair and impartial judge in the context of a search warrant. Attorney Myers graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2001 with a Juris Doctorate degree. She received numerous awards in law school including the Dean's Certificate of Achievement in Conflicts of Law and Honors in the Trial section of her Litigation Skills course. Upon graduation, Attorney Myers was selected to be a member of the esteemed honorary society, Order of the Coif. 1 She also graduated magna cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. As a student at FDU, Attorney Myers was a member of the Honors program and was named the NIT All-American Scholar Athlete for the Women's Tennis Team.

Attorney Myers is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, the State of Connecticut, the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut, and the Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. Her meticulous attention to the details of her cases and careful preparation for litigation are valuable assets to her clients and the firm.

Attorney Myers has served as President of the Young Lawyers Section of the New Haven County Bar Association. She is currently serving as a member of the NHCBA's Executive Committee and CLE Committee. She is also a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

1 The Order of the Coif is an honorary scholastic society the purpose of which is to encourage excellence in legal education by fostering a spirit of careful study, recognizing those who as law students attained a high grade of scholarship, and honoring those who as lawyers, judges and teachers attained high distinction for their scholarly or professional accomplishments.
