Congratulations to Hugh Keefe, Donn Swift and Ben Gettinger for a tremendous victory on behalf of our client, Robert Murtha.

This case is an excellent example of the teamwork approach at Lynch, Traub, Keefe & Errante. Our partner, Hugh Keefe, originally represented Mr. Murtha in a hard-fought trial in the Hartford Superior Court and after several weeks of evidence, Hugh obtained complete exoneration of Mr. Murtha. Following that a civil lawsuit was brought against the City of Hartford to compensate Mr. Murtha for his attorneys and for time lost in regard to the initial case. Our partner, Donn Swift, tried that case and obtained a successful result on behalf of Mr. Murtha. Following that second win, the City of Hartford took an appeal and our associate, Ben Gettinger, drafted the appeals' brief for the Connecticut Supreme Court. On November 17, 2011, the Supreme Court affirmed the trial court decision on all respects resulting in a complete victory for Robert Murtha on all issues.

Our team of attorneys provided representation for Mr. Murtha through all steps in the proceeding and obtained a completely favorable result for a very deserving client.
