LTKE Law Proudly Sponsors the 41st Annual Christopher Martin’s Christmas Run for Children
On Sunday, December 7, 2025, thousands of runners, families, and community supporters gathered in New Haven for one of the city’s most cherished holiday traditions: the 41st Annual Christopher Martin’s Christmas Run for Children. LTKE Law was honored to sponsor this year’s event and join in a celebration rooted in generosity, community spirit, and the joy of giving.
This beloved 5K race follows a flat and festive route, beginning at Christopher Martin’s Restaurant on Upper State Street, winding through Downtown New Haven and the Wooster Square neighborhood, and returning to the starting area. Every participant received a custom pint glass and race bib, with optional commemorative T-shirts available during registration.

But more than a race, the Christmas Run for Children has become a powerful holiday mission. Each year, runners bring toys to donate, helping ensure that local children, many of whom they will never meet, can experience a brighter, more joyful Christmas morning. Over the past four decades, the event has delivered more than 60,000 toys to families across the New Haven area.

This year’s run featured a standout moment when New Haven Mayor Justin Elicker took to the starting line and completed the 5K with an incredible 19:01 finish time, a performance that impressed everyone cheering along the course.

As a proud sponsor, LTKE Law was deeply moved to be part of this tradition of giving and community connection. Our team spent the morning handing out fun gifts, warm beverages, and encouraging smiles to runners and supporters braving the December chill. Seeing thousands of people come together—each carrying toys, wearing holiday gear, and sharing in the spirit of generosity—was both heartwarming and inspiring.

At LTKE Law, we believe in supporting the communities we serve, especially during the holiday season. Sponsoring the Christmas Run for Children allows us to give back in a meaningful way and help bring joy to children who need it most. We extend our sincere thanks to Christopher Martin’s, the volunteers, the runners, and the families who contributed to this year’s tremendous success.

Together, we made the season a little brighter—in every stride, in every smile, and in every toy donated.
