2023 Christopher Martin’s Christmas Run for Children

Dec 3rd, 2023 | Community

New Haven, CT: Christopher Martin’s Christmas Run for Children 5K celebrated its 39th anniversary at its 2023 event on Sunday, December 3rd in New Haven. Over the years, the event has donated over 60,000 toys to children in the New Haven area. With the help of race participants, the event will donate hundreds of toys and thousands of dollars to the Friends of Rudolph Toy Drive! As an additional incentive to donate, participants received a discounted entry fee and 20% off their purchase at Woodbridge Running Company when they donated a toy during early packet pick-up. The event is presented by Lynch, Traub, Keefe & Errante (LTKE Law).

The key sponsorship of LTKE Law ensures the event will donate thousands of dollars to collect hundreds of additional toys for the Friends of Rudolph Toy Drive. LTKE Law Managing Attorney, Steven J. Errante said, “Lynch, Traub, Keefe & Errante is proud to be the presenting sponsor of this great event to support a great charity. Our firm is committed to making a positive impact in the community of New Haven where our lawyers live and work. We hope our support makes Christmas brighter for children in need.”

The 5K race started on State Street, continued onto Orange Street and passed the historic New Haven Green. Despite the rain at this year’s event, the sold-out race saw people dressed in Christmas attire and having fun! First, second, and third place finishers were awarded gift certificates and gift cards. First place finishers were also given LTKE Law tumblers.

The race is organized by JB Sports and the team at Christopher Martin’s Restaurant. JB Sports, one of top event management companies in Connecticut, also coordinates the Faxon Law New Haven Road Race and PLR Shamrock & Roll 5K.
