Talc-Containing Baby & Body Powder – Ovarian Cancer

We are currently investigating and evaluating potential cases where women with a history of perineal use of talc-containing Johnson & Johnson Baby Powder and Shower-to-Shower Body Powder were diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Scientific studies and the World Health Organization have identified an association between long-term perineal (genital) use of talc-containing powders and ovarian cancer. In June 2013, Cancer Prevention Research published a study that concluded women with a history of using talc-containing powder in their genital area have a 20 to 30 percent increased risk of developing ovarian cancer. Presented with scientific studies, expert testimony and factual evidence, four St. Louis juries and one California jury found that Johnson & Johnson failed to warn consumers about the risk of ovarian cancer associated with the perineal use of its talc-based powders. In each case, multi-million dollar verdicts were awarded to the woman and/or her family.

If you (or a loved one) have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and have a history of applying talc-containing powders to your (her) perineal area, we would like to speak with you. Please call us at 1-888-692-7403 or 203-333-3333 or send us your contact information. We will contact you promptly and if we agree to investigate your case further, we will begin working on it as soon as you formally hire us to do so. There is no out-of-pocket cost because we work strictly on a contingent fee basis, which means we only receive a fee if you receive compensation for the injury.
